I started Tater Tot Child Care in November, 2006. 
After graduating High School in 1984 I attended Shasta College in Redding, Ca with an Early Childhood major.  Up until 2006 I worked in child care facilities with little ones aged birth through school age. 
My husband Christopher and I have been together for 23 years.  Chris is the reason I began my own child care.  He has always been and continues to be a source of support for me. 
Chris and I have three awesome kids.  Our oldest, Joshua will be 21 in December.  He is the artist of the family.  He can draw or create anything simply from a thought in his head.  Joshua is an art major in college with a graphic art degree goal.
Our middle child, Jacob is 19 and enrolled in the heavy equipment operating program at the college.  Jacob is a very independent young man.  Whenever his dad is not around he becomes the one I turn to for repairs, help, etc.  As of April, 2010 both of my boys are in the process of joining the Navy. 
Our "baby" Sommer Rose just turned 17 and is a senior in high school.  Sommer loves to make short films and take pictures and hopes to major in film making when she enters college.  Sommer is our big hearted child.  She is very generous and kind and loves the little ones in our child care!
My family is also my back up help when I need it.  When I have appointments my husband Christopher is my backup provider.  My children, particularly Joshua in the morning and Sommer in the afternoon, are my assistants.  I have been able to build what I call true "Family" child care.
